By creating an account or using SplitSol (the apps and splitsol.co), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. What SplitSol is
SplitSol is a record-keeping tool for shared expenses. It is not a bank, wallet, or payment service, and it never holds or transfers money. Balances in the app are records created by you and other users; we are not a party to, and do not enforce, any debt between users.
2. Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
3. Your content
You own what you add. You grant us only the licence needed to store and show that content to the people you share it with. Content in shared groups stays visible to members (anonymised after you delete your account) so their records remain correct.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use SplitSol for anything unlawful, record fictitious debts against people, harass other users, probe or overload our systems, or access data that isn’t yours. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Early access
SplitSol is in early access: features may change or break, and availability isn’t guaranteed.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. Verify significant amounts with the people involved before settling. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past 12 months or PKR 10,000.
7. Governing law & changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, unless mandatory consumer law where you live provides otherwise. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced before they take effect, and continued use means acceptance.
